Los Blancos, Barahona: Waiting for the Three Kings

In the rural community of Los Blancos in Barahona, we recently spent time with a spirited group of children who welcomed us with songs and laughter. Our last shipment brought essential items, but we didn’t have enough toys to share with everyone. We made a promise: on January 6 (Three Kings Day), we will return with new toys—one for every child. We kept our promise and were able to bring a smile to their sweet faces.

Their response was pure joy. The children clapped and cheered, and families thanked our volunteers for remembering them. Moments like these remind us that generosity is not only about what we give, but about keeping our word and showing up again.
We would like with your help to repeat the blessings. Between now and January 6, the St. Francis Hands Foundation is gathering new, unwrapped toys and the support needed to deliver them safely to Los Blancos.
Together, we can make sure every child is seen, celebrated, and included.
Your support helps us fulfill this promise for the Feast of the Three Kings.
