In El Palmar de Herrera, Leonida Quiroz and her neighbor share more than a courtyard, they share courage. Both women live with diabetes, which has brought serious complications to their feet and made walking impossible. Daily life is demanding, and the cost of basic care items adds up quickly.

Through the St. Francis Hands Foundation, we accompany Leonida and her neighbor with essentials that preserve comfort and dignity. We provide adult diapers and bed pads they cannot afford, along with clothing and other basic needs. These practical supports lighten the load on their families and help prevent health setbacks at home.

What stands out most is not their hardship but their resilience—the patience, humor, and faith that carry them through each day. Standing with them is part of our mission: to serve with love, one neighbor at a time.
Your support helps us continue delivering essential care items to women like Leonida and her neighbor.
