This past January, our community in El Palmar de Herrera was blessed to celebrate the Feast of the Three Kings with a very special gift: toys for the children, thanks to the generosity of St. Christopher Parish in Baldwin, NY.

Through the kindness of parishioners who donated gently used toys, we were able to bring smiles, laughter, and joy to many little ones. For families who often go without, this celebration became a reminder that God’s love is shared not only through prayer and liturgy, but also through concrete acts of compassion.

In the photo, you can see our secretary, Erlin María, who lovingly organized and oversaw the distribution. Her dedication ensured that every child felt the excitement of receiving a gift on this feast day, just as the Magi once brought gifts to the Christ Child.

We are deeply grateful to our friends at St. Christopher Parish for their ongoing support of our mission. Their generosity shows us the true spirit of giving—transforming what may seem ordinary into something extraordinary in the eyes of a child.

As we look ahead, we pray that our work continues to bring joy, hope, and dignity to the children and families we serve.
